If you are a college student and tend to have a lot of free time between semesters, research some places of employment that are offering temporary positions that coincide with your schedule.

The classes that you are studying in school will ultimately earn you a degree. Some classes can be applied toward varying career fields. When meeting with a job recruiter, outline the schedule that you can uphold at a new job. Specify if you are looking for work that will be associated with what you are currently studying.

If you make a good impression during your first working relationship with an employer, there may be an opportunity for you to acquire recurring positions through them. If you predict you'll have multiple occasions to work through the agency, you may qualify to become a recurring employee.
